The non-profit group, the Billerica Horseman's Association, was first incorporated in 1981, established by a group of people with a love and commitment for horses. The primary purpose of the club was to educate the general public in all matters concerning the horse. Work with local officials and residents in any situations concerning the horse to further the acceptance of the horse and enhance the image of horse owners and horses in general within the town of Billerica and surrounding areas. (Articles of Organization, April 8, 1981).
The organization was re-incorporated in March of 2004 and renamed the Greater Billerica Horseman's Association to encompass the larger area that our membership now covers.
